Online Policy Statement

This Web site is administered by Sparta Runners Club (SRC). The primary purpose of this site is to provide company and service information to existing and potential members. SRC is committed to maintaining your privacy so that you may feel comfortable while visiting our site.

The following is a guide for you to understand how this site collects and uses information you may provide during your visit. Please review Terms of Use for further information as well.

Information Gathering and Dissemination

Personal Information: Personal information will be requested of you when you submit an inquiry or resume. In the case of inquiry or comment, we log any information that you send us, and retain it for up to one year. In the case of membership application submission, we log at minimum your name, telephone number, e-mail and resume, and retain it for one year. This information remains internal to SRC and is not shared with outside parties without your written authorization.

E-mail addresses: When a visitor submits an inquiry, comment, or membership application through a form available on this site, we log and retain the e-mail address for up to one year. Any message you send via e-mail is subject to the risks and vulnerabilities of the e-mail technology.

Registration: This site does not currently require registration to be viewed.

Cookies, Scripts and Plug-ins: We may use simple scripts from time to time to enhance the appearance of the site. Some browsers might not be able to run the scripts although that should not affect your ability to view this site.

We do use Adobe Acrobat for certain documents and forms. This may require you to download the Acrobat Reader, available free from www.acrobat.com, to your computer, to view these files.

IP Address: SRC does not, at this time, log IP addresses of visitors (your IP address indicates the location of your computer on the Internet.)

Credit Card and Bank information: We do not currently collect credit card information through this site. SRC will never ask for your credit card or bank information.

Data Security: To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, ensure the appropriate use of information and protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information under our control, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to protect the information we collect online.

Children online privacy statement: SRC is sensitive to and understands the importance of protecting children's privacy online. This site is not intentionally geared to or designed for children under the age of 13, and we ask that minors not submit any personal information to us.
